Our approach to health is based on a Functional Medicine model.

At Nutrimente we work around three main pillars: Nutrition (healthy eating), Movement (improved physical fitness) and Mindfulness (positive mental wellbeing).

Functional Medicine

Functional medicine is a science-based, comprehensive approach to health that looks at the origins and the underlying causes of the disease or its symptoms.

It start from the premise that every person is biochemically unique, and each approach to health should be individually tailored to the person.

Functional Medicine focuses on the Why, on Prevention, on Whole body system balance and connections.

While traditional medicine focuses on the symptoms and tends to see the body as a series of body parts.

In a traditional medicine approach, for example, if you have a problem with your skin you see a dermatologist.

While in a Functional Medicine model we would look at the possible drivers and origin of the skin problems. Very often they are rooted in the gut, but there might be other factors at play.

By digging deeper on the origin of the symptoms and understanding how the different biological systems work, both individually and in connection with each other is fundamental.

This approach allows us to focus upstream, work on the cause of the problem, rather than just managing the symptoms.


There's no one-size-fits-all plan, everyones journey to health is entirely different and unique.

We will work together to identify the root causes or body systems imbalances that have led to your symptoms to then create a Personalised Nutrition and Lifestyle Plan that feels right for you.

Your Plan will be defined combining evidence-based nutrition, clinical experience, laboratory and functional testing with your own individual needs, preferences and goals.

My goal is to empower you to make gentle, achievable and sustainable dietary and lifestyle changes to support your physical and mental wellbeing and reach your goals as quickly as possible.

Changes takes time, dedication and commitment and that is why I offer packages.

Seeing you over a defined length of time will allow me the time to deep dive into all aspects that could be impacting your health and allow you the time to implement long lasting dietary, lifestyle and behavioural changes.
